6/24/09 Nova Day at Alter Ego in Marion, Iowa!To celebrate the release of Nova #26 (making the current series the longest in Nova's history), Alter Ego in Marion, Iowa, held Nova Day! A cake with Nova frosting was served to Alter Ego's customers. Anyone who bought a copy of Nova #26, a back issue of Nova or Nova TPB was entered into a drawing for a copy of the Nova Premiere Edition HC. 1/5/09 Kotobukiya's Nova Statue in Previews!
Japanese statue maker Kotobukiya is releasing a Nova statue! The statue measures over
15 inches high and has special enchancements.Those include special glow in the dark paint on the eyes and three energy regulators that are on the chest. The removable base of the statue will have an LED light inside to give it an energetic glow! The statue will be available in June of 2009 and was done by sculptor Junnosuke Abe.
It is now available in the Previews catalog (Items shipping in March 2009) for $175.
