Title: "Nova vs. The Mighty Thor!"

As Nova is flying to school, he spots danger! His girlfriend, Ginger Jaye, is about to be hit by a runaway truck! As he saves her, Ginger begins to recognize Nova's voice as that of Rich Rider's! Nova quickly disguises his voice and prays that she is fooled. He then rushes off to class after changing back to Rich Rider.

As Rich struggles through his math test, over in Jamaica, Queens, the super-hero known as Thor is helping firefighters extinguish a large fire. After using his magic hammer to bring down torrential rains, Thor attempts to rescue a man trapped in a chemical supply room. What he finds is a raving madman who attacks him!

The man reveals that he is not mad, but evil. He calls himself The Corruptor and that his touch spreads that evil to all within reach. The Corruptor uses his power to take over Thor's mind! The corrupted Thor destroys the firefighters' vehicle and announces that he is going to conquer the world!

Meanwhile, at Uncle Fudge's Ice Cream Parlor, Rich, Ginger and their friend, Bernie Dillon, are having ice cream. As usual, Rich's nemesis, Mike Burley, is there to insult him. As Rich and his friends go to their booth, Burley tells his girlfriend, Donna, that he is getting tired of having to be perfect in everything he does. At the same time, Bernie is telling Rich and Ginger that their other friend, Roger "Caps" Cooper, has been missing for a few days. Bernie suspects foul play. They decide to go to Roger's house and investigate. As they're leaving, Rich spots Thor flying through the sky. He decides to meet the God of Thunder and tells his friends that he will meet them at Roger's.

When Nova flies overs to Thor, he is surprised when Thor hits him through a wall! A fierce battle begins, ironically, in Rich's high school gym. During this fight, Nova is knocked into the school's pool. As Thor attempts to drown Nova, the God of Thunder is surprised that his foe won't die. Nova is also shocked to find that his costume has created a watertight visor in his helmet! Nova realizes that his costume had been built for deep space and that, along with a visor, it has a recycling air supply! Taking advantage of Thor's dismay, Nova knocks the possessed hero through the schoolyard.

Meanwhile, The Corruptor has been watching the fight from the shadows. Suddenly, he is overcome with pain and changes back to his human self. When the villain changed back, his hold over Thor disappears. However, Nova has put everything into one single punch and connects just as Thor regains control! After recovering, Thor and Nova exchange greetings and handshakes.

Back in Briarwood, Queens, the man who was The Corruptor has returned home. He is stunned by what has happened to him and realizes that the chemicals have turned him into a Jekyll and Hyde personality! As he talks to his girlfriend, Doris, on the phone, we find out that his name is Jackson Day. Jackson quickly gets her off the phone as he realizes that he is once again becoming..The Corruptor!

During this time, Thor and Nova have teamed up and traced the name and address of Jackson Day. As they bust into Day's residence, the heroes find The Corruptor waiting for them! As they battle, The Corruptor again attempts to turn Thor evil. Thor fights the influence and knocks the villain into the fist of Nova! The evil demon flees into the streets while corrupting innocent people.

Thor confronts The Corruptor, who is holding a woman hostage. The villain attempts to escape but Thor uses his hammer to knock The Corruptor off balance. The evil one finally falls after connecting with Nova's fist! The Corruptor reverts to his human form as Thor and Nova become friends!
