On the 212th day since Annihilus attacked the universe, the United Front is regrouping on Daedalus 5. Cammi finds Drax cooking one of the fallen insectoids for food. As they talk, Phyla, the daughter of the famous Kree warrior Captain Mar-Vell, stumbles from an alleyway. She is almost in shock as she tells Drax that his daughter, Moondragon, has been kidnapped by Thanos!

Following a slap by Drax to help her focus, Phyla tells Drax how she was visiting the grave sites of her father and brother accompanied by her friend Moondragon. Suddenly, Thanos and his tiny companion, Skreet, teleport next to them and quickly take out the attacking Phyla. Moondragon joins the fight but is also quickly defeated by the mad Titan. As Thanos prepares to leave, he savagely rips off Moondragon's ear and tosses it to Phyla along with a message for her to tell Drax that he has his daughter.

Meanwhile, Nova and Ronan are meeting with three Kree battalion captains from the House of Fiyero, the ruling body of the Kree Empire which supplies 90% of the United Front's militia. Ronan tells the captains that they must rethink their current war strategy. An argument begins that leads to the Krees threatening to pull their forces from the United Front. Nova tells them he will not be forced to choose against Ronan whom he considers a close ally.

The Kree captains decide to take matters into their own hands and attempt to attack Ronan. The Kree warrior responsed by passing his own judgment and executes them with his energy hammer! Afterwards, Nova tells Ronan that it was unwise to kill them as they need everybody they can find to fight the Annihilation Wave. Ronan asks Nova for a small force of warriors to come with him to overthrow the House of Fiyero. Rich tells him that he can't spare anyone and that their forces are already stretched thin. Ronan decides to fight the House of Fiyero on his own and departs.

Just then, Gamora announces that a being named Praxagora has arrived. The group goes outside to find she has brought the body of the Super Skrull to them for a proper burial. Praxagora recounts how the Skrull warrior fell in battle fighting the Annihilation Wave while saving her life at the same time. Nova, Peter Quill and Gamora are suspicious of her but listen to her story. After she finishes, Ronan spits on the casket of his hated enemy. Tensions rise as Gamora and Praxagora edge closer to fighting but their argument is interrupted by the teleported arrival of Ravenous!

Ravenous has brought along a group of super-powered warriors to destroy the leadership of the United Front! Standing with him are Terrax, Paibok, Delinquent and one of the Mad Thinker's powerful androids. Peter sends a signal calling for the heralds of Galactus since they are the only ones with enough power to fight Ravenous. Upon sending the signal, a massive clash of power breaks out as the United Front and Ravenous's forces attack each other!

Elsewhere aboard Thanos's starship, Annihilus meets with Thanos to discuss his progress on how to apply Galactus's power to biological beings. Thanos informs him that he is making progress and takes the Annihilation Wave's leader to a different level of the ship. There he reveals an imprisoned Galactus along with a captured Silver Surfer!

Back on Daedalus 5, the battle rages on as Ravenous battles Ronan, Terrax fights Gamora, the android blasts Praxagora and Nova smashes the remaining alien attackers! As a result of the combat, the Super Skrull's casket is knocked from its resting place and the Skrull's body falls to the ground. Before anyone can notice, the heralds, Red Shift and Stardust, arrive and join the fight! Also joining them is Drax who attacks Deliquent and cuts open his foe with his blades! Out from Deliquent's wound comes a cascade of small insects that have infested his body!

Suddenly, the WorldMind inside of Nova informs him that a large teleportation energy surge has been detected. From the energy burst, Ravenous unveils his Annihilus's elite super-powered warriors he calls the Centurions! He reveals that each of the 100 Centurions represent a world that has been conquered by Annihilus in their home dimension of the Negative Zone!

Nova wonders if their situation can get any worse!
